Crimping tool for twisted pair cabling. Used to attach RJ-11 / RJ-45 connectors to twisted pair cabling

Tone generator: used to trace cables. Comes in handy when the wall plates and or cables are not properly labeled.





Loopback adapter: used to test the functionality of the network card and test the TCP/IP protocol stack when an ethernet cable is not available from the DHCP server.

Network+ / N10-007 Test Prep

This is the first day of setup for the study material for the Network+ N10-007 exam. This will be a work in progress as I am a Network Admin and a Technical Instructor specializing in CompTIA boot camps.

On the right-hand side of the page will be linked to other pages. This first one is for the acronyms for this exam. It's a flashcard program that has multiple features. I will add a little each day.
